'Dying to get in'  A guided tour of St Pancras Churchyard with Lester Hillman Of some 6m Londoners who died in the two centuries before closure in 1854 1.5% were buried in this Churchyard.  Why was this and what about the centuries before?  For many stepping into the Churchyard is 'visiting family'.  This guided tour will be a chance to discover a rare genealogical resource  There will be a chance to catch up on the fall of the 'Hardy Tree' which has in the last year attracted global interest.  The recently restored Church adjacent, with its newly cleaned memorials and some surprises, offers further insights. Our tour guide wrote the Churchyard booklet, assists with enquiries from around the world, leads specialist tours, conferences, workshops and and contributes to TV, film, radio and book projects.
