Fortalice Fells Walk 2024
Fortalice Fells Walk returns for 2024!
Event Date: Saturday 6th July 2024 – 10am
Event Type: 9k or 4.5K Sponsored Charity Walk for Fortalice, Bolton domestic abuse charity.
Event Starting Location: Rivington & Blackrod High School
Fortalice Fells Walk – Saturday 6th July 2024 join us and climb Bolton’s iconic landmarks Rivington Pike and Winter Hill whilst raising vital funds for Fortalice for only £12.50!
The route will cover two fells of the Pennine and is a total of 9 Kilometres, you will be provided with your very own Fortalice Fell T-Shirt and walker number to wear on the day!
New for 2024 we have a shorter route available – 4.5K!
All friendly dogs on leads are welcome!
Our dedicated team will lead the way passing picturesque countryside and climbing to the top. With views of Cumbrian Fells, Blackpool Tower, The Isle of Man, Ashurst’s Beacon and the Welsh mountains, can be seen! You will also pass a quaint coffee shop ‘Pike Cottage’ should you wish to have a ‘tea break’!
On your return back to the event village you will receive your very own Fortalice Fells Medal for completing this challenge and a well-earned Carrs Pasty!
We kindly ask you raise a suggested minimum sponsorship amount of £40 by asking your friends, family or colleagues to support your challenge!
Unfortunately the registration fee only covers the cost of event essentials, it is with your sponsorship raised we can continue to support victims of domestic abuse when they need us most.
By walking with us this July you could be saving lives.
