Join our choir in Canterbury for a FREE taster session

Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'?

The Canterbury Rock Choir is led by Kent based musician and teacher Tony Johnson. Our UK top twenty album gave ordinary people the chance to become chart-topping singers, and Rock Choir is continually giving our members bigger and better opportunities to achieve things they never thought they could do - from supporting national charities like Sign2sing, British Airways Flying Start and the Moonwalk to singing at the UK's top performing arts venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo. But through all this excitement, we never lose track of our local community roots. Visit this link https://rockchoir.com/events-and-performances-near-you to see more about our activities in Kent.

We sing in Canterbury every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not find out where you can see the choir performing next by visiting our choir gigs page at rockchoir.com. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Canterbury community together through something as simple as singing.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Being part of the choir has given me a wonderful opportunity to belong to a fantastic venture into the world of contemporary music and given me a new lease of life. Singing in the choir is a much better 'pick-me-up' than any anti-depressant tablet prescribed by a doctor. I come away after the weekly choir session with the best feeling ever and the companionship with fellow members is something money can't buy.' - Janet (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir m
