Every Mile Matters Fundraising Walk - SW Coast Path Association

Jurassic Coast Walk - Weymouth to Lodmoor/Osmington.

A gentle walk that starts in Weymouth and passes through Lodmoor RSPB Reserve and Bowleaze Cove before reaching Osmington Mills, an important geological site where a small waterfall tumbles straight onto the beach. The boulders here are full of fossils and the limestone points fingers of rock into the sea, that would have once made it the perfect place for smugglers.

NB: The Weymouth to Lodmoor Nature Reserve of this walk is fully accessible.

Mileage / Gradient:
5 miles / Easy or 6 miles / Moderate.

Organised by the South West Coast Path Association (www.southwestcoastpath.org.uk), this is one of seven coastal fundraising walks taking place across each of the seven sections of the 630-mile South West Coast Path during May & June. Each of the 'Magnificent Seven' walks has been designed to make it easy for everyone to join in and get a taste of the powerful health and wellbeing benefits of taking to the Trail, whilst giving back and supporting the work the charity does to protect and champion this incredible Path, which is under increasing threat from severe weather conditions.

Meet the South West Coast Path team, enjoy a coastal walk and find out more about what the South West Coast Path Association does as a charity to protect and improve England's longest National Trail. By taking part, you're making a difference, as 100% of ticket sales will go back into this much-loved Path.
