Willow Weaving Workshop
Learn some of the basic weaving techniques which are used in many woven baskets. During this day-long workshop you will have chance to weave your basket base, then create either a small narrow basket or a wider, shallow table basket. You will complete this with a border and maybe a simple handle if required. The colour of the willow will depend on what is available at the time.
No previous weaving experience is necessary, however, weaving with willow can be quite tough on your hands – and a good level of manual dexterity is required.
