Some of North Yorkshire’s finest gardens will be on parade this summer when the pretty village of Mickley extends a warm welcome to visitors to its Open Gardens Day.
You can enjoy – and be inspired by – a colourful collection of outdoor spaces in a wide range of sizes and styles, from cottage gardens with their casual planting and old-fashioned floral favourites to modern landscaped affairs with bold architectural features.
There will be a well-stocked plant stall and ice-creams, with coffees, lunches and afternoon teas served in the village hall. There will also be a barbecue for a spot of al fresco dining and a Prosecco stand. All proceeds will be donated to St John’s Church, Mickley, and Marie Curie.
