An evening of angelic and demonic music with Finnish composer Jaakko Mäntyjärvi's dramatic recounting of a contemporary sea disaster, Hungarian composer György Orbán's vivid depiction of demons, Hanns Eisler setting a text inspired by Joe Hill's The Ballad of Casey Jones, plus music by Monteverdi, Arcadelt, Lotti, Josquin, Arvo Pärt, Herbert Howells and Ola Gjeilo.
