Live Pro-Wrestling Charity Show with Gladiators Finalist
Pursuit Pro Wrestling (PPW), a wrestling training facility in Sheffield city centre, is hosting a pro-wrestling event to raise vital funds for The Children’s Hospital Charity on 23 June.
PPW is partnering with The Children’s Hospital Charity, to showcase the region’s very best sports entertainers in Yorkshire, including Gladiators finalist and Yorkshireman, Wesley Male, with a high-flying and thrilling charity fundraising event, hosted at the pro-wrestling facility on Fitzwalter Road near Sheffield City Centre.
The Children’s Hospital Charity, based in Sheffield, is dedicated to supplying life-saving equipment and funding important research and treatments for thousands of children in the South Yorkshire region and beyond, with children and their families the world over travelling to Yorkshire for world-class treatment.
The family-friendly event, titled Theo Mania - a nod to the charity’s mascot, a yellow bear named Theo - is due to take place on 23 June (Sunday) from 1pm – 4pm at the PPW facility on Fitzwalter Road, S2 2SP with special guests from the hit BBC show Gladiators.
Nathan Black, the founder of PPW and pro-wrestler, said “As a parent, the work that The Children’s Hospital Charity does in providing the very best care for children in need of medical care is sincerely close to my heart - Spending time in the hospital with my newborn daughter at the time, I witnessed the utmost care and attention from the staff who helped ensure my daughter returned home happy and healthy.
“As a proud dad and supporter of The Children’s Hospital Charity, I’m honoured to be able to put on a pro-wrestling show at Pursuit Pro Wrestling to thrill guests and raise vital funds toward this wonderful cause.”
