As part of its commemoration of the D-Day landings in Normandy in June 1944, The Friends of Cottered Church are laying on an exhibition of “Cottered’s War” in Cottered Church.
Come along and hear about the fascinating recollections of people who were here during the dark days of WWII, find out where the bombs landed and read the stories of many of Cottered’s combatants. For those who fancy their aircraft recognition there is a ‘plane spotters challenge’ and afterwards enjoy a cream tea with home-made scones.
