Experience an unforgettable evening of symphonic orchestral music with the City of Southampton Orchestra, led by principal conductor John Traill.
The program opens with the enchanting Gaelic Symphony by American composer Amy Beach, who passed away 80 years ago in 1944. This captivating piece celebrates Beach's Scottish heritage and her love for Scottish folk melodies. Notably, Amy Beach was the first American woman to have a symphony published.
