Pain Predicament immersive Pop-up
The Pain Payback - an immersive one-day pop-up from Philips Lumea - is launching as an experiential event to say an overdue goodbye to the agony of traditional hair removal, on Saturday 8th June at 55 Curtain Road, Shoreditch, London.
Women have been putting up with the pain and discomfort of traditional hair removal methods for too long – from blistered skin caused by waxing and rashes from hair removal cream to ingrown hairs from shaving.
In this free immersive and interactive space, guests will take the journey through pain when they enter the Pain Room, where spiky paneling, sticky floors and a Velcro wall will recreate a physical experience of the uncomfortable process of waxing and shaving.
The journey will then continue onto the Rage Room, which will give guests the power to take out their frustrations by physically destroying painful hair removal tools by throwing, popping and smashing their way through to the final space – the relaxing Lumea room, a calm sanctuary where consumers can enjoy a peaceful environment and try out an alternative, long-lasting method of hair removal - the Philips Lumea IPL 9900 hair removal device.
Hours: 10am – 6pm
