Fabulous country garden opening for St John’s Ambulance.
5 acres of formal and informal planting set within 20 acres of pasture, woodland and surrounding countryside. This garden has been lovingly developed over the last 30 years with lots of different areas of interest. Small garden rooms planted in individual styles including walled vegetable garden, white garden, grass garden, late summer garden and spring garden. Traditional herbaceous borders, roses, box parterres, extensive wildflower meadows and many different varieties of trees. There is an ever growing collection of sculptures located throughout to add interest all year round. The garden is also a haven for insects and other wildlife.
Dogs on leads welcome. Please be aware there are some gravel paths and steps to some parts of the garden in case of accessibility issues.
Teas and homemade refreshments available. Plant stalls and a couple of local arts and crafts sellers.
