Walk from Gayton Engine
Theddlethorpe History Club Walking Group will be meeting at the car park opposite Gayton Engine, for a walk around the local area with a knowledgeable local guide.
They’ll be talking about the grade II listed, Victorian pumping station, which was built in about 1850, and was used to pump flood water from the marshes for well over 100 years. Then going on a guided tour of the surrounding area.
All are welcome to join in.
Meeting 10am in the car park opposite Gayton Engine Pumping Station.
