A weekend of celebration in the charming, mainly 12th century building of St. Mary's Church, Woodnewton, is planned. Join us for a journey into the delights of flowers, music, culture and treats.
This festival will feature captivating flower arrangements, highlighting the beauty of nature and the artistry of floral design. Visitors can admire a variety of stunning arrangements, showcasing the creativity and skill of local flower arrangers.
Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in delicious homemade treats and refreshing beverages served amidst the tranquillity of the church building, which also provides the perfect accompaniment whilst relaxing to live music.
For those with a passion for local and village history, there will be an opportunity for people to delve into the rich heritage of Woodnewton through informative displays, that have been staged by the village history group members.
Art lovers will have an opportunity of viewing the creativity of work from local artists. From bold abstract compositions to intricate installations, this exhibition will feature work that reflect the artists' unique interpretations of the area around them.
The event will also feature a selection stalls where visitors can browse and shop for second hand books on diverse topics and genres, as well as a delightful assortment of plants for gardening enthusiasts.
