Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'
The Greenock Rock Choir is led by singer/pianist Jen Bonnar. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like the Royal Albert Hall and Guilfest to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved good causes such as Refuge, British Airways Flying Start and the Edinburgh and London Moonwalks. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Deborah Stevens has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!
We sing in Greenock every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not find out where you can see the choir performing next by visiting our choir gigs page at rockchoir.com. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Greenock community together through something as simple as learning to sing.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Why I love Rock Choir: I've had lupus for over 16 years. I get to forget that once a week and I feel like I've achieved something in life now, as I've had to give everything else up because of it.' - Sheryl (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
