Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'?
Your friendly local Durham choir is run by choir leader Rob Slater. You've probably heard of our unique sellout O2 arena event in 2013 and our secret singing flash mobs around country for Comic Relief (just search 'Great British flash mob' on YouTube!), but at Rock Choir we know it's not just about the unique huge events, it's about our choir members singing in the community. Join your local Durham Rock Choir to become part of this 'national phenomenon' (as described in the Sunday Times) and discover a whole new world of opportunities to socialise and meet people.
You've probably heard us singing in and around County Durham, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Durham Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all.
