Britain's What's On Event Guide
Play Like a Victorian Craft Session at the Florence Nightingale Museum
This summer the Florence Nightingale Museum is prioritizing play!
Come explore the museum and learn about the life and times of Florence Nightingale, and the history of the nursing profession.
Our temporary exhibition space has been cleared so you can now play like a Victorian! Hopscotch you way in and try your luck at quoits or see if you can get yourself on the cup and ball champion board.
On select days you will also be able to make-and-take your own peg doll. Fashion the doll to look like Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole, or yourself! This hands-on craft session allows you to learn through creation and imagination.
Dates of crafting sessions: Tuesday 30th July and Tuesdays 13th and 27th August
Craft sessions are drop-in from 10:00am-5:00pm and are free with a general admission ticket.
