FREE taster session with the Newark Rock Choir
If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!
The Newark Rock Choir is led by singing teacher Robyn Licata. The Newark branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Newark community causes and events, all the local Nottinghamshire choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the O2 Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, nationwide flaskmobs and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
Rock Choir offers the chance to sing pop, rock and Motown songs together in a comfortable, unauditioned way. There are 10+ rehearsals a term and any commitment you make are organised to fit around the main holiday times in the year.
