Summer of Play at Cliveden National Trust
Cliveden is an enchanted playground for all ages. Little ones love to play in the Storybook Play Den with carved wooden figures and structures to run around, climb and play make-believe. Cliveden’s giant maze is great for older children to challenge themselves. In the woodlands, children can while away an hour to two on den-building, log balance beams, rope swings and more. From April to October, families can hire an electric boat or take a skippered tour of the river.
This summer, Cliveden’s Ilex Grove is being transformed for the summer into the 'Games Grove'. You’ll find traditional garden games like giant Jenga, dominoes, memory game, tug-of-war, bean bag toss and others.
Elm Field near the Woodlands Lounge will become the 'Exploration Zone'. Here there is lots of space for free-thinking, free-play opportunities with a build your own obstacle course, giant building blocks and a nature music station.
Also look out for Challenge Points and Imagination Stations throughout the grounds.
