Britain's What's On Event Guide
FREE taster session with the Harlow Rock Choir
If you are wanting to join a choir you'll find just what you were looking for with us in the Rock Choir.
The Harlow Rock Choir is led by local musician Sally Creedon. The local men and women who have joined the choir who live in Harlow and further afield in Essex often have never sung before or had any vocal tuition. Once you join the choir you will find you learn the songs by rote from a brilliant set of resources and you will be amazed how quickly you go from 'not sure' to 'performance ready'. The songs are uniquely arranged by Rock Choir founder Caroline Redman Lusher to make songs easy to sing yet still challenge you in places.
If you find yourself racing through the week with no time for yourself, or struggling to meet new people in Harlow, then joining your local social singing group could be right for you. With our unique, no-pressure approach to teaching and fun, uplifting arrangements of your favorite hit songs Sally will guide you through your weekly dose of music, fun and laughter.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I can only echo what people have said about Rock Choir. It's had such an impact on mine and other's lives. A fantastic outlet for singing feel-good songs, the ones we all enjoy to listen to - and the opportunity to be part of a group producing an amazing sound. I've made so many friends and had many fantastic experiences during my last 5 years with Rock Choir and look forward to many more!' - Emma (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
