A warm summer afternoon of light choral music with Voices in Achord - Stockports own mixed voice, a cappella ensemble.
Featuring brilliant arrangements of popular music by George & Ira Gershwin, Billy Joel, Ben Oakwood, Lennon & McCartney and many more - and a little bit of Mozart to.
Stop Press: We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by the wonderful Mezzo-Soprano, Actor and Recording Artist Sophie Clarke who will be be performing for us at our 'I Got Rhythm' Summer Concert.
Sophie Clarke is a Mezzo-Soprano, Actor and Recording Artist from Liverpool, UK. Praised for her “beautiful story telling” and “touching performances” Sophie has entered the theatre and music industry with thousands of loyal listeners and a line of successful solo performances in venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall and Bridgewater Hall. She is currently charming audiences as a soloist with London Concertante Orchestra on their West End Musicals UK and Ireland Tour.
