It’s a long time since Hind Street Gallery put on an exhibition curating such variance from highly acclaimed artists. In 2001 an unknown artist, Joshua Fields from the USA was invited to hold his first ever gallery exhibition here. He has since adopted the brush name of Gus Fink with over 300k followers on Instagram and TikTok, and 410k on Facebook. Now internationally famous, his career was helped along the way by Hind Street Gallery.
The new Gallery Director, Mandy Fenwick, is hoping to return the gallery to those special days and recreate the success it enjoyed in the town by searching for outstanding artists and presenting exhibitions of original art. She intends to put the Gallery and Ottery St Mary back on the map as an important venue in the art world.
Starting with 6 artists from Paris, London and East Devon, showing from Sat 12th July until Sat 3rd August and two plays to be performed on the evening of Friday 12th July she hopes you will come and enjoy this exhibition month.
