Putney funeral home invites local community to paw-fect fundraiser
A Putney funeral home is encouraging the local community to take part in its fundraiser for Battersea Dogs Home.
Taking place all day on Friday 19 July, Putney Co-op Funeralcare on Upper Richmond Road, is inviting the community to bring along their furry friends to enjoy paw-some pup-cakes, get creative with pet-themed arts and crafts, and take part in a ‘Guess the amount of dog treats’ competition, all in aid of the shelter.
Local ministers and celebrants will also be popping along with their own four-legged companions to meet those in the community.
Airat Adelakun, Funeral Arranger at Co-op Funeralcare Putney, said: “Here at Co-op Funeralcare in Putney, it’s important to us to play a key role in supporting our local community.
“We want to be here for when our community need us and encourage people to be comfortable to stop by for a chat – and what better way to do so than welcoming along our furry friends and raising money for a good cause.
“There’s lots going on for people to get involved with, and we look forward to seeing everyone there for what is sure to be a fantastic event!”
