Art Matters -A 12 inch Square for Charity
Thank you to everyone who has submitted canvases to our latest charity 12-inch Canvas Exhibition at the EJD studio.It's now almost time for everyone to come and admire the work and raise money for charity.
We have sold 500 blank canvases and have just hung an amazing 450 completed artworks, using a mind-boggling variety of mediums, from paint, watercolour, charcoal, pencil, and crayon to needlework, collage, photography, sculpture, tapestry, electronics…. and many more besides.
The artworks will be offered for sale at £50 each and all the money raised will be going to Samaritans, the Princess Alexandra Hospital Breast Unit at St Margaret’s Hospital, Epping and The Oracle Head and Neck Cancer Charity.
Teas, coffees, cakes, Prosecco and refreshments will be available on all days and there is ample free parking.
We are planning live music from the Ware Ukulele Band on Saturday July 20 from noon and A drama performance from Razed Roof on Saturday 20th July in the afternoon.
Please come along to the exhibition and admire the talent from all over Hertfordshire, Essex, Wiltshire, Scotland and beyond!
