A Slow Tale presented by the Letaniko Theatre
Join us at Severndroog Castle this summer for family theatre. First up, a delightful Saturday morning puppet show, A Slow Tale, for children, families and anyone who enjoys stories with puppets.
Come and meet Moody the Snail, the slowest creature in the woods who, despite facing taunts from the others, overcomes his fears and triumphs over adversity, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of both young and old alike.
Written by Magda Borisova with Nikoleta Stefanova as narrator, the morning show will be in English followed by an additional performance in Bulgarian in the afternoon. Created by Theatre 'Danny + Dessi', the puppet show made its way from Bulgaria to the UK, an exciting collaboration with Letaniko Theatre.
Recommended age range: 3-8 year olds.
This is an outdoor show, in Severndroog Castle courtyard, so please dress for the weather. Seating is on provided chairs, benches and rugs laid out in front of the performance area.
The Severndroog Tearoom will be open throughout, along with ground-floor accessible lavatory and baby changing facilities.
