About this Event

FREE taster session with the Bedford Rock Choir

If you have ever thought 'I want to join a choir near me in Bedford?' then why not join your local Rock Choir.

The local Bedford choir is run by singing teacher Rob Baker. The choir is for all ages and all the local Bedfordshire branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible gigs like the 9,500 seat Liverpool Arena and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (The Rock Choir members have got 3 world records and even had personal certificates arranged for them) and community events too like the local Bedfordshire music and food festivals.

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Rob tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with him about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 19 years experience giving members of the public who are new to singing in a choir the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
