FREE taster session with the York Rock Choir

Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'?

Your local York choir is run by singer/pianist Kate Peters. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Stadium for Saracens v Harlequins in 2012 and on top of the BT tower to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved good causes such as Missing People, Sport Relief and local charities like Ty Hafan in South Wales. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!

Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at the O2 arena (which we've done!), there's a place for you in the York Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the York choir members recommend their friends!

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Singing gives a terrific high and is certainly an aid to fighting depression. I look forward to each week with excitement. I just want to spread the word, join Rock Choir if there is one near you. ' - Seana (Rock Choir Member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
