Opera Kipling (OffFest Finalists 2023 and London Pub Theatre Awards Semi-Finalists 2023) are delighted to return with their production of Hansel & Gretel this summer as part of the Camden Fringe 2024.
Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck is a delicious operatic treat - set to a sumptuously rich score, sprinkled with comedy, adventure, and more tunes than you can shake a candy cane at, this show follows the classic story by the Brothers Grimm and features all the familiar characters but with a few surprises!
Updated to the 1950s, this show explores the hunger for food and fame, what's good and healthy for us, and what's too good to be true...
