Walk for Humanity

Walk for Humanity
28 September 2024, London

Walk with us this autumn and raise money to help people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

There’s a lot going on in the world right now, and it can be difficult to know how to help. But the worst of times can bring out the best in us.

The British Red Cross is there for those in crisis, whether it's people affected by ongoing conflict or giving a lifeline to those whose homes have been hit by floods and storms in the UK.

By walking for humanity, you can make a real difference to people who desperately need our support.

Will you walk for humanity?
Do you like to challenge yourself, to meet new people, to admire the sites of your city in the breeze of the early autumn and to have fun? If so, this event is for you.

Take part to our 5 or 10 km circular walk starting and ending in Archbishop’s Park, passing some of London’s most iconic landmarks including Westminster bridge, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament.

The route is totally accessible and you can join solo or get together with friends, family or even your dog. We’ll have a warm up, activities for kids on the walk, plus an event village where you can grab something to eat and learn more about our work from inspiring speakers.

Under 18s join for free, and we have 50% off the registration fee for all signups before the end of July. Sign up at WalkForHumanity.redcross.org.uk.

All the money raised will go to the British Red Cross, so that we can help and make a difference for many people in need. Because together, with you walking alongside us, we are the world’s emergency responders.
To ensure the safety of walkers and members of the public, walkers will set off in waves. The charity village will be open from 10am to 4pm. The first wave will set off at 10.30am. Ticket price is £5 early birds until end of July, £10 standard
