Summer of Play - Petworth House and Park
We have plenty of family activities on offer at Petworth with another year of the Summer of Play.
Try out one of our lawn games, such as croquet or badminton. Take part in our free activities such as giant colouring, hula hoops, and space hoppers. Head up to the Glade in the garden to become Queen or King of our straw bale castle.
We will also be celebrating our Tudor heritage with Tudor Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Summer holidays. Try out one of our free Tudor-themed crafts, and have a go at our family-friendly jousting.
There will be special pop up archery events throughout August! Join us for free archery practice in Petworth's Pleasure Gardens. All equipment is provided, and instructors will be on hand to help you perfect your aim. The event is open to everyone aged 6 and up. These will take place on 6, 8, 13, 15, 24 and 29 August, from 12 noon - 3pm.
