FREE taster session with the Saltash Rock Choir
Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'?
The Saltash Rock Choir is led by based musician and teacher Marcus Alleyne. The Saltash branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Saltash community causes and events, all the local choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the Royal Albert Hall, achieving album sales that enter the charts, local flashmobs and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
We rehearse weekly during term time and you can come along to any rehearsal that is convenient to you for your FREE taste of what singing with your local choir is like. Here is a quote about our choir - 'I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It's often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don't really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there - a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir - suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives.
