About this Event

FREE taster session with the Leek Rock Choir

If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can!

The Leek Rock Choir is led by local vocal tutor Beverley Mason. The Leek branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Leek community causes and events, our nearby Rock Choir groups come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the 10,000 seat Wembley Arena, achieving album sales that enter the charts, television appearances and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!

Just like a gym session or aerobics class, your Rock Choir rehearsal provides an escape from everyday life. Once a week, your time is completely your own, to do nothing but sing your heart out with our trailblazing formula of fun, friendship and feel-good music. Book a completely FREE session the Leek Rock Choir and see for yourself!

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Being part of the choir has given me a wonderful opportunity to belong to a fantastic venture into the world of contemporary music and given me a new lease of life. Singing in the choir is a much better 'pick-me-up' than any anti-depressant tablet prescribed by a doctor. I come away after the weekly choir session with the best feeling ever and the companionship with fellow members is something money can't buy.' - Janet (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
