Britain's What's On Event Guide
Walking & Writing the Waveney Valley
'The River Waveney, stretching for nearly 60 miles source to sea, marks the boundary between Norfolk and Suffolk. It is a fascinating region to explore on foot, with an enticing array of historic market towns and villages, sights and landscapes along the way'. Local author, John Arnett, will discuss his recent walking books 'Waveney Walk' and 'By the Waveney' and the unique appeal of the Waveney Valley. He will also explain the process and pleasures of getting a book into print. The talk will begin with a quiz, giving you the chance to win one of the books.
Talk starts at 2.00pm. Friends of Diss Museum £3, non members £5. All welcome, no need to book pay on the door. Plenty of free parking and free refreshments.
