Branching out! Tamworth housebuilder hosts free event to encourage you
A housebuilder in Tamworth is encouraging children to play outside more this summer and embrace the nature on their doorstep by hosting a special event and giving away free explorer packs.
Redrow Midlands is hosting a special ‘playmaking’ event on Saturday 3rd August, from 11am-2pm, at its Amington Garden Village development, offering free ice cream for visitors and fun games for the whole family to get involved with.
Free ‘explorer packs’ will also be available at the development on the day and for a limited time during the summer holidays as part of a nationwide initiative to get children outdoors with their friends and family.
With Redrow looking to create a better way to live for children, the explorer packs will include mini magnifying glasses, flower seeds, mini bug catcher nets, bug stickers, crayons and seeded paper to grow your own plants at home.
Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for Redrow Midlands, said: “With school officially out for summer, we’re thrilled to be hosting this wonderful outdoor event and offering explorer packs to children in Tamworth to encourage them to get to know the wonderful nature we have on our doorstep.
