Mrs. Savage has been left ten million dollars by her late husband, and is determined to make the best us of it. Her children in a desperate bid to get their hands on the money have her committed to a sanatorium, where she gets to know the various social misfits, men and women, who cannot adjust themselves to life outside – and need her help.
Filled with joyous high comedy, The Curious Savage champions the virtues of kindness and affection in a world that seems at times motivated only by greed and dishonesty.
