Are you looking to find a local choir to join?
The Newtownards Rock Choir is led by vocal coach Paddy Anderson. We are the local community choir with the national reputation - join the Newtownards Rock Choir and experience the singing phenomenon that Will Smith described as 'Fantastic'. Whilst retaining our community spirit, we come together en masse for national and regional events, giving our members unrivalled performance opportunities and experiences beyond compare, ranging from trips to perform at Eurodisney to our local Co. Down music, food and fireworks festivals!
Every week local people like you attend group rehearsals and learn pop, rock, Motown and every now and again a 'pop gospel' song. Here is a quote about our choir - 'I spend many hours every day driving and in meetings. It's often quite a struggle to get to Rock Choir and I often don't really feel like making the effort. Something magic happens when I get there - a combination of the unfailing cheerfulness of our Rock Choir tutor, the physical movement, breathing and singing, the (usually!) lovely sound of the combined voices of the choir - suddenly the stress of the day melts away, energy returns and a feeling of well-being arrives.
