Sensory Summer Trail and Arts and Crafts at Rye Meads
Summer is a great time to put your senses to the test because the birds are singing even louder, the flowers are in bloom, and the days are lighter with more sun. So why not join our Sensory Summer trail to experience Rye Meads in a whole new way.
Find out what part of the body a Spider tastes with, whether honeybees have a better sense of smell than a human and if your eyesight is as sharp as a Kestrel’s. In fact, there’s so much to discover that we SENSE you’ll have a really great time!
Arts and Crafts are also back for another year for the summer holidays! Create your own bee, make a mask of your favourite Rye Meads animal, decorate rocks, and draw what you saw during your visit - let your imagination run wild!
The trail and arts and crafts are both available every day of the summer holidays (24th July - 1st September). There's no need to book, just turn up on the day.
Trail - £2 per sheet
Arts and Crafts - £3 to do all activities per person
