GILIL presents DEADLETTER live at Coventry Central Library
Get It Loud in Libraries presents another cracker of an evening at Coventry Central Library with DEADLETTER.
Hailing from Yorkshire and now settled on a South London perch, DEADLETTER are a six piece post punk band, with tracks of narrative drive and a tongue of biting politic critic.
Expect a live show worthy of true punk lineage, this band has true heart in the live chaos of performance . Razor sharp lyricism reckons with the state of the world; from 9-5 nihilism and knarly neighbours to broken benefits and binge culture.
Already amassing spins from Radio 6's Steve Lamacq the band are set to shake up Coventry Library.
'The next time someone says to me 'why aren’t the young bands writing about politics anymore’ I might well play them DEADLETTER' – Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 6 Music
