Local author Louise Shaw will be hosting Storytime at Standen during August, with her children’s book series Tawny Owl Wood. Through the stories, readers learn about the power of inclusion and reaching out to those who may feel invisible or marginalised. Tawny Owl Wood reminds children that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life and encourages them to be compassionate and inclusive towards others. Louise Shaw also brings her love of nature into the stories to encourage families to help protect it for the future.
