Builth Male Voice Choir visits Wigmore, Herefordshire
Over the last few years this long-established choir has toured in Germany, France, Holland, Ireland and the Czech Republic as well as singing at venues across Wales and the rest of the UK, entertaining many thousands of people in venues ranging from tiny churches and village halls to the more impressive surroundings of St David’s Hall, the Millennium Centre and the Royal Albert Hall.
This promises to be a thoroughly rousing event - the choir will sound amazing with the acoustics of the 1,000 yr old building!
This church is under threat of closure. This is the last of the 2024 series of 'Use it or Lose it' fundraising events sponsored by the Friends of St James' Church, Wigmore. A glass of wine or soft drink will be available FOC after the event, although donations will be welcome. Your support is appreciated.

Drop off/turning point only by the church, parking is available at Wigmore School, or Wigmore Village Hall, Ford Street, HR6 9UW.
We suggest using the 'facilities' of the Village Hall before arriving at the church. but a Portaloo is available on site. Gentlemen may also 'water the daisies' of the churchyard.
