About this Event

FREE taster session with the Great Dunmow Rock Choir

If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes!

The local Great Dunmow choir is run by vocal tutor Hollie Heard. We support a number of local charities, raising money and awareness around Essex and as a choir we also join up with other branches of Rock Choir to support national charities such as Missing People and both Comic and Sport Relief with flash mobs, fundraising events and gigs.

Rock Choir is the no audition, no need to read music choir and it was the first of its kind in the country. The best thing of all is you can try a FREE singing taster session before you join the choir. Just go to rockchoir.com and you'll find out all you need to know. You can also find out about Hollie - your choir leader, and how to join the Great Dunmow Rock Choir.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir is a way for people to express themselves musically in an environment which normally would not allow them to do so. I bet a pound to a pinch of salt there are thousands of guys and girls in the UK itching to sing but are too embarrassed or worried what others may think, and let's face it, if it makes people happy then come on UK lets get behind them!!! Rock Choir is the wonderful innovative idea which is the brain child of Caroline Redman Lusher who I have had the privilege of working with over the past 12 months. Live the dream guys.' - Gary Chilton (Double-platinum selling singer with 'The Soldiers')

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
