Britain's What's On Event Guide
FREE taster session with the Swansea Rock Choir
If you are wanting to learn to sing you'll find a happy place with us in the Rock Choir.
The Swansea Rock Choir is led by West Glamorgan based musician and teacher Dan Rogers. Rock Choir is unequalled in the opportunities we can offer our members - from performing at top music and arts venues like Wembley Stadium for Saracens v Harlequins in 2012 and Eurodisney to raising money for some of the UKs best-loved good causes such as Missing People, Sport Relief and local charities like Ty Hafan in South Wales. Appearing on national television and singing with celebrities like Deborah Stevens has been exciting and exhilarating, but Rock Choir members still know the importance of supporting our local community causes and events!
Just like a gym session or aerobics class, your membership of the choir provides an escape from everyday life. Once a week, your time is completely your own, to do nothing but sing your heart out with friends whilst enjoying our trailblazing formula of fun, friendship and feel-good music. Book a FREE singing taster session at the Swansea Rock Choir and see for yourself!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Being part of the choir has given me a wonderful opportunity to belong to a fantastic venture into the world of contemporary music and given me a new lease of life. Singing in the choir is a much better 'pick-me-up' than any anti-depressant tablet prescribed by a doctor. I come away after the weekly choir session with the best feeling ever and the companionship with fellow members is something money can't buy.' - Janet (Rock Choir member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
