DalkeithPhoto is an exciting season of photography at Dalkeith Palace, located only 20 minutes from central Edinburgh from 08 September to 06 October 2024.
The event will commence with a symposium featuring a cast of expert speakers who will celebrate and explore the art of photography through engaging presentations and conversations. DalkeithPhoto will play host to an exciting programme of exhibitions. Running simultaneously every Friday to Sunday – from Sunday 08 Sep – Sunday 06 Oct – visitors have the chance to view these four spectacular exhibitions all within Dalkeith Palace.
Visitors can also explore the wonderful world of photography through expert-led practical workshops. Whether you are a curious learner, a professional or an amateur, join our experts for these exciting events and take away something unique. DalkeithPhoto Workshops include Cyanotype with Angela Chalmers, Carbon Printing Demonstration with David Chalmers, Salt Printing Demonstration with Gregg McNeill and Tintypes with Gregg McNeill.
For the duration of the exhibition you have the opportunity to sit down with an expert during DalkeithPhoto for an in-depth and personal portfolio review.
Reviewers will provide feedback and critical support for print or digital portfolios in 20 minute sessions. Available on selected Sundays throughout the exhibition with a host of photography experts.
