Britain's What's On Event Guide
Shine Local Whitstable & Herne Bay for CRUK
Shine local Whitstable and Herne Bay takes place on Friday 20th September 2024 and will see our community come together to light up our streets. Walk for loved ones. Walk for future generations. Walk with friends old and new to raise vital funds for life-saving research. In the last 50 years, we’ve helped double cancer survival in the UK. Help us power more progress.
On the day:
Arrive at Tankerton Bay Sailing Club at 7:00pm to sign in and to be briefed. Please bring plenty of water and comfortable walking shoes. This will be a 5k route that you can walk at your own pace. The route ends by a pub where you will be able to purchase refreshments if you wish. We will set off at 7:30pm. We will provide you with a checklist on everything you need to bring with you, and how you can prepare for the walk as well.
