James Gilchrist with William Vann

“James Gilchrist showed once again that he has few equals amongst tenors”. The master of English song performs settings by Quilter, Britten, Ivor Gurney and the mysterious Muriel Herbert. In the second half he and the pianist William Vann present Schumann’s timeless lieder masterpiece, Dichterliebe.
