One of the finest living interpreters of Classical and Romantic piano music, Imogen Cooper continues her special relationship with Wells audiences and our young musicians in a performance of Beethoven final three piano sonatas. These are summits of the piano repertoire, music that challenges, inspires and is endlessly, deeply fascinating. Dame Imogen’s visits to Cedars Hall over recent years, playing to us and working with some exceptional up-and-coming pianists, have been musical highlights for many.
