There will be a great treat for G&S fans in the North Norfolk area on Saturday 21 September when
'The Wandering Minstrels' (www.wanderingminstrels.org.uk) visit St. Michael's Church, Aylsham for 'The World of Gilbert and Sullivan'. They will sing, act and dance their way through many of the popular Savoy Operas including 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'The Mikado', 'HMS Pinafore', 'Iolanthe', 'The Yeomen of the Guard', 'Princess Ida', 'The Gondoliers' and 'Ruddigore'. Artistes appearing in this concert are Helen Winter, Emma Stratton, Charles Mills, Bruce Graham and Tim Hurst-Brown, with Peter Hewitt at the piano. This is the company's fifth visit to Aylsham. Mr. Michael Gurney, Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, will be present with his wife.
