Britain's What's On Event Guide
FREE taster session with the Gainsborough Rock Choir
Are you looking to find a choir?
The Gainsborough Rock Choir is led by singing teacher Lulu Grainger. Our UK top twenty album gave ordinary people the chance to become chart-topping singers, and Rock Choir is continually giving our members bigger and better opportunities to achieve things they never thought they could do - from supporting national charities like Comic Relief, Missing People and Refuge to singing at the UK's top performing arts venues such as Birmingham Symphony Hall. But through all this excitement, we never lose track of our local community roots. Visit this link https://rockchoir.com/events-and-performances-near-you to see more about our activities in .
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at Wembley Arena (which we did! - for the ITV1 documentary 'The Choir that Rocks'), there's a place for you in the Gainsborough Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see why the Gainsborough choir members recommend their friends!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'Rock Choir has helped me through really bad times in my life. Singing together lifts my spirits and helps me forget all my worries. I have made really good friends and it has certainly raised my confidence!! A year ago would never have attempted a solo but now enjoy the challenge. Rock Choir is really good fun and I do love singing anyway.' - Pauline (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
