A Baroque Christmas
Eboracum Baroque are delighted to return to the Georgian splendour of St Andrew’s Church, Wimpole for a varied programme of festive music.
The concert features seasonal vocal and instrumental works including arias from Handel’s Messiah and a performance of Bach’s celebratory cantata, Jauchzet Gott. There will also be a pastoral recorder concerto, Organ music and traditional french Christmas carols by Charpentier and Lalande.
There will be mulled wine and mince pies served at the end of the concert and a chance to mingle with the performers. A great way to start Christmas week!
