400th birthday event for George Fox (co-founder of Quakerism)

A 30 minute talk about George Fox, co-founder of Quakerism, born 400 years ago, followed by cake, conversation and the opportunity to experience a Quaker Meeting for Worship.

Quakers have been part of Oxfordshire life for nearly four centuries, gathering in contemplative stillness to know an inward peace they recognised as the Light of Christ. Although originally persecuted they persevered. All are welcome to learn more about the Quaker movements' origins and to find out how Quakers live today
